Affraid To Claim

What is the name of your state? CALIFORNIA

MY WIFE AND I WENT TO AN INDAIN CASINO LAST NIGHT. TODAY MY WIFE COULD NOT FIND HER PURSE SO SHE BACK TRACKED. SHE CALLED THE CASINO, AND THEY SAID THAT HER PURSE WAS TURNED OVER TO THE LOCAL SHERIFF'S DEPT. THAT THERE WAS SOME METH. FOUND INSIDE THE POUCH OF HER PURSE. NOW SHE IS AFRAID OF GOING DOWN TO THE SHERIFF'S STATION TO GET IT BACK. SHOULD SHE BE AFRAID? THERE WAS ONLY 3000 PEOPLE IN THE CASINO. SOMEONE HAD TURNED IT IN TODAY TO THE CASINO AND THE CASINO TURNED IT OVER TO THE POLICE. PLEASE HELP ANSWER THE QUESTION, I DONT WANT HER GOING TO GET IT IF THEY ARE GOING TO TRY AND SAY IT WAS HER'S AND ARREST HER FOR IT. SORRY FOR THE SPELLING ERRORS EYES ARE NOT LIKE THEY USED TO BE.

If I were her I would not go claim her purse. They will surely arrest her. Take a look at the following thread which is a similar situation.
