Lying to police. What is the name of your state? Nevada A couple years ago my boyfriend's ex took his daughter and hid. He had the police out to the home to look for her. Her mother told the police that she still lived there. We now have proof that she lied to the police. Because of this lie he was not able to file appropriate charges at the time, and now the situation has progressed. Can he press charges against this women? Any suggestions would be welcome. |

| It's likely that the staute of limitiations on any crime that MIGHT have occurred has passed. You might consider having him contact the District Attorney's office with what he has and asking them if there is any criminal charges that can be brought after this time. Depending on the nature of the allegations, it might be possible ... but the lying part is probably not goign to happen unless someone was injured, or the lie was part of a conspiracy that is still ongoing. - Carl
