making a false police report

I called 911 because the wife was hitting on me in front of our baby.

police show and she said that there was no violence and she never hit or struck me. he must have dialed 911 in error.

a week later she told and its in the CPS report that she was in fact hitting me.

should or can i persue this with the police dpt or DA that i have her on paper making a false police report. ????

She lied to the police. That is very different from filing a false police report. You called the cops, why they chose to believe her instead of you, who knows.

There seems to be a lot of turmoil here, and I'm not willing to open that Pandora's Box.
