Question

Misdeameanor

How long does a misdeameanor stay on criminal background check in Texas? My friend was arrested and fined in Oct 1999 for fighting with his ex-wife. He plead guilty and paid a $200 fine. Now he was just denied employment because this is on his record.

It will be on his record the rest of his life.
