Mispelled nameWhat is the name of your state?Georgia\ The name of the property owner was mispelled on the Warrant to search a private residence. Rhoads was spelled Rhoades. It is not a typo because they did it about 50 times in this warrant. Also (surprise surprise) the agent on the scene lied so many times I suppose to show probable cause for this warrant. I tried to obtain a copy of the video from the local police department assisting at the scene but was told that since they really did not have anything to do with the arrest (other than be present the whole time, transport prisoners, and conducting the "security sweep" of the residence that resulted in this warrant to be applied for) they did not have any reason to keep this tape. Does this mean it will come down to his word against mine? I am not the defendant by the way. This took place at a a local business and the residence searched was a private bus converted into an Rv/Home, legally parked on the property. The owner of the business is not the owner of the bus. Do you think there is a chance to slide out from under the charges?? |

| Post the rest of the information. There are gaping holes in your story. What was the purpose of the warrant.. ie what were they searching for? What agency was conducting the search? What did they find? Who was arrested? What interest do YOU have in the case? Why hasn't a competent defense attorney been hired, and what does he/she have to say? Bear two things in mind... The minor name misspelling is NOT enough to invalidate the warrant. Yes, it is a minor misspelling. If a vehicle was the subject of the search, different rules apply due to the vehicle's inherent mobility. ___________________________________________________ 1* |
