What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland. What happens when you miss a must appear court date? I know they issue a warrant but how soon after.

If you failed to appear, the judge most likely issued a bench warrant before the end of the session.

Kind of foolish, not showing up when you knew you needed to. Didn't have the current insurance handled in time, eh? If you thought this ticket was going to cost you much more so now.

The warrant would be issued right away. The question is just how long will it take to be entered into NCIC. Probably anywhere from one day to a week or two.
