What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois (Chicago)
I was denied a chauffeur's license in Chicago due to a previous offense. The offense was 2 counts of disorderly conduct involving some threats made electronically (stupid right?). The Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection claims this is a crime involving moral turpitude.
I am trying to appeal this denial in a hearing later this month. While I believe this isn't a crime involving moral turpitude, I'm having difficulty looking for sources from ideally the ILCS or Chicago's Municipal Code to back up my claim. Does anyone have any suggestions that would help?
