How long after being arrested, not booked for anything can you be held? :confused:

What do you mean by "arrested"? And how long were you held in custody? And WHAT were you arrested for?

In general in CA, you are arraigned in 48 hours ... that's two COURT days - weekends and holidays don't count. But, if the arrest was for a warrant or some other 'hold', then the time may be longer prior to a court hearing of any kind.

Well In Alabama It Is Within 72 Hours But You Really Need To Find Out What They Are Arrested For The Police Have To Tell You And That Is Everywhere......hope That Helps :)
