I'm new here..
Long story short... Met someone online...talked for about 3 months and never met. He finally admitted that he wasn't who he said he was. I tired to be nice and let him know I wasn't interested. I then started ignoring his calls. He went from annoying to stalking me and harassing me, my friends, ex husband, ex boyfriend...to making threats towards my family. He also called my boss and tried to get me fired. He has sent me unwanted gifts. I went to the police and filed a report. He calmed down and didn't bother me as much for about 3 months. All of a sudden he started up again. He would send me about 50 text messages a day. Went back to the police and with all the evidence I provided they were able to arrest him for stalking. He was arrested on Monday and then again on Friday for continuing to harass me and a friend. He remains in jail as of 2/1. He had a hearing and admitted that he has mental issues. He is now saying that I stole his father's credit card to buy all the gifts he sent me.
I have a hearing this Friday for an injunction against him. This has been a nightmare that I've been dealing with for 9 months now. He's in jail and I'm still getting strange calls and messages. Will this ever end?? I guess my question is.... How do these things usually end and do you think he will be at my hearing on Friday for the restraining order if he is in jail? He has an attorney so my thought is that his attorney will make him go. Any advice will greatly be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
