new chargesWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Utah. is it legal for a Police Officer to issue a ticket, have you sign it and then add new charges to that ticket? |

| As long as you are being charged with the new crime within the Statute of Limitations, yes, the state may produce new charges.
