no idictment, how do i get my seized property back

What is the name of your state? ca
there was no indictment, need to get my seized property back. is there a time limit to how long they have to return property? what motions can be filed.

thank you for any help anybody can provide.

what property is it, is it under investigation?need more info to help answer.
