Notice of Arraignment, will I be arrested?

I recieved a Notice of Arraignment in the mail today, charging me with Physical Abuse of an Animal. I have been having trouble with the dog catcher here who is accusing me of not feeding my dog, which I take care of my dog and he is well fed and watered. I'm wondering what this means? I've never been in trouble before and I'm scared they might arrest me at the arraignment. I'm not sure what to do, and any help would be most appreciated.

At the arraignment, you'll be asked to enter a plea - guilty or not guilty - of the charges presented. You may or may not be taken into custody pending trial.
