Ok I have a simple question.....

undefinedWhat is the name of your state?Mo
I recently found out that I have two warrants in different counties. The first is for passing bad checks. In this certain county, you receive a warning in the mail and the standard 10 days applies, but you don't have to go before a judge, as long as you take care of it. I never received anything in the mail about this due to moving, anyway I plan on paying the fines for this at the end of the week, at this time will this warrant be taken care of. The warrant itself is not for failure to appear but not for not paying fines. The second one is more complicated. Its for the same charge but in this certain county you pay a prosecuting atty fee, then you have to go to the buisness itself get proof you paid and take that to the prosecuting atty. If you don't get this done in a certain amount of time you get a court date. I paid the prosecuting atty fee and attempted to pay the buisness by mail with a money order. They never sent me a reicept. I even enclosed a self-addressed envelope for them to do so.Meanwhile i got set up with a court date. I was unable to appear because I was two weeks away from giving birth, and I resided an hour and a half away. I called the court house they told me to fax a note from my dr. I did so and they even made a note of it on my docket.Unfortunatly I still received a warrant out for my arrest for FTA. My question is how can I deal with this warrant, do I just need to go turn myself in? Or should I hire an atty
to get all of this resolved. I think it is unfair for them to issue a warrant for my arrest Its not like I am trying to avoid the problems I caused for myself

My response:

You forgot to mention whether your trailer has 2 or 4 wheels. Please state.

This should be pretty simple. Take your receipt from the money order (or even better, the copy you made BEFORE you sent it..... you did keep a copy, right?) to the merchant and get a confirmation that it was paid. Then, take that confirmation to court and take care of it.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

I'm sorry but your a moron. I bet you wake up in the morning, and say to yourself,"I wonder how I can make my inadequate exsistence better by belittling others." Did they teach you that in law school, or was that already planted in your narsasistic mind? You judged me without knowing the whole story. The reason I found myself in that predicament in the first place was (A) I was escaping from an abusive relationship from a very prominant figure in my community, and (B) I had to pay $5000 to get my divorce over and done with. I'm sure you will have something witty to say about that. I'm not asking for your sympathy, but what I am asking is for you to interprit the law for me. I tried to find info on my own, but the only thing I learned was that its a felony to wrestle bears in Missouri.

I did one better than this,I ordered a tracer from the money order company, which will show who actually cashed it. I always make a copy of important papers. I know that I wrote a novel ,but my question is by paying all fees will my warrants be taken care of, even for the FTA warrant?

My response:

I didn't need to know the "the whole story". Your life was not in immediate danger. You're the "moron" lady because you don't make your life problems and choices someone else's by STEALING from people; i.e., writing rubber checks.

That's why there are laws against such acts, and that's why you're being prosecuted. The judge won't buy your excuses and justifications, and neither do I.

Now, was that a single-wide, or a double-wide?

crazyeights04 - - I agree with Besideherself, get a free consultation with an attorney. Opinions of others can often be benefical and I'm sure this forum has potential to be just that, but since your question appears (as noted by your responders ) to be either out of the scope of knowledge, or intentionally lacking information regarding aspects of law for which the forum was intended to provide... ergot, IMO you should close this thread.
