Out of state SubpoenaWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? oh A Procecutor from Tenn called us in Ohio and said they want us to come back to testify in a murder trial..The guy is real bad news..2 questions can they make us go back to testify and secondly, they are willing to pay all expenses to and from Tenn. | There are ways they can compel you, yes. And, yes, depending on relevant state law they should be required to compensate you for any expenses. Contact the prosecuting agency that subpoenaed you and ask how they plan to pay for your travel, hotel, and feeding. - Carl
