What is the name of your state? CA
I have a friend who's been arrested on an out of state (in Oregon) warrant which is on a secret indictment for sexual assault/abuse on an underage child. He has no idea what this is about or who may have accused him of such a crime. He's in a CA jail awaiting a hearing on other charges here, but is trying to find out more info. on the above. No one is giving him info and says he has to be extradited to Oregon and go before a judge before he finds out any information because of the secret indictment.
Is this true? Is there no other way to find out information regarding this indictment? If there is, how?
Also are the penal codes the same for every state? If not how do I find out about Oregon codes? or convert CA to OR?
