outstanding bench Warrent

What is the name of your state? Connecticut

I just travelled into Canada on a business trip (which I have done many times) and this time I found out there is a 30 year old outstanding warrant that I know was dropped 30 years ago, Customs were fine and let me in but I need to find out how to get this cleaned up. it was a drug charge that I posted bail on and then the police informant realized it was not me and I was let go ? how do I remove this from my record ? how do I find out what my record actually is ? Since this is 30 years ago doesnt the statute of limitations remove this ?
any pointers on where to start would be appreciated

thanks,

JOW

Did you think of calling the county courthouse to determine why it's still active?

it just happened this morning and I had no Idea where to even start,
I hear I can find out about my record by requesting it via the FOI act but how do I go about doing that ?

thanks,

Your making this way too complicated.

Call the county courthouse (as BB said) and ask for a copy of the file. It is already public information.

They will some some dough up front.
