What is the name of your state? California

I am trying to find out if there are outstanding warrants for an immediate family member. He was busted with 100lbs of Marijuana crossing the US border. How would I find out if there is still an open federal warrant for him? Also, is there a statute of limitations on this type of felony? The arrest occured over 5 years ago, and he has not been back in the country since.

Thanks.

You can call the federal court where it might have been issued and ask if they will tell you. Maybe the FBI or the US Marshall's will tell you. But if a warrant was issued, it stays forever. It will NOT go away until served or withdrawn. And no court is going to withdraw a warrant without cause.
