paid warrants or

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? TX

I recently (3 weeks ago) paid for some outstanding warrants that I have had for a couple of years. On good faith, I turned myself in to the constable and accepted the fact that either paid all the warrants in full or go to jail so like above I paid them in full. He then told me that my DL number was cleared and no longer had a hold on it seeing that it was almost time to renew. A buddy of mine who's a detective ran my DL number,a week later, to make sure it was cleared, printed a report stateing that it was. Couple of days ago I was stopped for "running a red light," and was arrested for warrants that they stated I had, and taken downtown. While in booking my buddy came down to show the officers the receipt of the paid warrants and proceded to tell him that those must be some other warrants from somewhere else, but they weren't. I have only been stopped in two cities in my lifetime. Austin and Goldthwait (which of course I took care of because I had the $$ then) What the hell was the purpose of turning myself in 3 weeks ago? and why did my DL record come back clean? Do I have a case against the city or Police department for their faults? Any advice would be great.
