He has a good job, a family, a place of residence, etc. but is being held in the local jail to see if California will pick him up. What is the likelyhood of them picking him up withen the 30 day time limit. He is on day 18. With him not having any contact with the law and not getting in any trouble with the law for 11 years, will that have an affect on the state of California coming to pick him up, and the decision on letting him stay in Arkansas? |
Just so you know, if CA decides not to extradite at this time, the warrant stays active. Every time he gets stopped by the police, he will have to spend another 30 days or so in jail.
Just because he's been good for 11 years does not mean he gets a free pass. He needs to pay for his past crimes, including that of absconding from parole in CA.
