penalty for shoplifting?

I live in Arizona and I was recently charged with shoplifting alcohol and I am not quite 21 years of age. I was just wondering what my possible penalty would be this is my first shoplifting charge. I also wanted to know if they the judge could bring up another charge if I had not gone to court about it yet. Thank you for reading my question and any advice right now would be helpful.

Under $1000 is a class 1 misdemeanor $2500 fine and/or 6 months in jail.
You need a lawyer.
