The "accuser" does not have to answer your questions anyway, whether he or she pleads the 5th or not.

If at trial, and you are acting as your own counsel for some insane reason, you can ask the court to direct the witness (accuser) to answer the question, but if the witness claims that by answering the question it might implicate them in a crime, the court is not likely to compel a response.

Could you provide a little more information as to what has happened and what you need to know?
