Please Help!

Florida

Am I allowed to contact the Dade Cnty judge assigned to a case from 17 years ago in that has just come up and resulted in my husband being held on an out of county hold in Marion County FL? I have gotten advice from attorneys that say they can request the judge to life the warrant w/ assurances that Bruce will appear in court when told. Since he will be on community control if released, and we have no money for an attorney, can I make the request of the judge and appeal to him on behalf of my husband? Our 4 year old son misses his daddy very much. Someone please help!
