You can file for a restraining order against him.

A threat to kill someone...

is a crime! If I were you I'd contact the police immediately, report what happened, and see if they will arrest him. If they don't arrest him, there is at least an official report of what transpired should anything else occur. Such documentation might be very important in the future.

Did

We did file a report down at the police station they said they had to send report to county attorney to see if he wanted to do any thing with it? Possible can get him for trespassing ? No straight answer on that yet either. Our nieghbors also did. You would think since we are in the middle of a court case now with him it would be tampering with a wittness??

Do you have a weapon available...

...If not I would buy one tomorrow and apply for a concealed carry permit. I would also contact the county attorney and find out what's going on. Intimidation is a two way street, I don't condone violence, but...I won't live in fear either! Staring down the busines end of a 9mm is a wake up call few fail to recognize when you open the door. The application for a concealed carry permit may put a bee in the bonnet of the local cops too.

I would think that someone making a threat on your life would fall under a "terroristic threat"...an arrest would be in order.
