What is the name of your state? fl
my husband had a warrent taken out on him in 2003 for grand theft the charges were dropped and in another county since 2004 he has been serving 5 years probation and doing well almost done. today driving to get him from work a cop stopped me and asked where he was. i told him i am going to pick him up why? he said he had a warrent from 2003 the same one the charges were dropped on. he had a bond for 1500 i went to post it and they told me they placed an admin comment no bond because he is on probation! it is saturday night and i do not know what to do i can call the county on monday to try and straiten this out but what is your suggestion. this is a typo and they never took the warrent out of the system even though charges were dropped. i need him home we have a brand new baby and just got a new car. if there was a warrent, we saw the po on friday and have every month since 2004 don't you think the po would have knew this? arrested him ect? please help me i do not know what to do

There really isn't anything you can do but to call his PO.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

well, after actively calling the jail and talking to everone there up the chain of command and in both counties for almost 8 hours and threating to get a lawyer and sue them for wrongful arrest and detainment, over riding a judges oreder that bond be granted ect. they finally allowed my husband to post bond on sunday at 8pm after i had to wait until after 2am for him to come out only to call the court house in the county the warrant was issued in to find out it was a non arrest warrant and yes charges had been dropped in 2003! just wanted to let you know the out come and that persistance when you know you are in the right pays off
