 my error tootexas... police took wrong wallet from car as ambulance took driver to hospital...unconcious... arrested after police looked in vehicle and found small amount of drugs... taken from hospital , where he was admitted under wrong name.. picture doesnt even look like the person.. wrong eye color..,etc... to jail.. where the wrong name had outstanding warrants.. which he picked up.. no correction of name !!.. by county...... or attorney.. 3 months still under wrong name,,, !! is this a technicallity error.... and what is wrong with the attorney ?? |

| I dunno ... talk to the attorney. What is the issue? Are you being charged for someone else's crime? The name doesn't matter for the original charges of drug possession ... if there were drugs in the car he can be charged no matter what his name was. - Carl

Mistake In Identity911 CALL .. PASSED OUT .. LOW SUGAR.. TOOK TO HOSPITAL.. POLICE TOOK WRONG ID FROM VEHICLE.. ALSO FOUND SMALL BLACK BAG WITH DRUGS. THE ID AND DRUGS WERE LEFT BY A PASSENGER WHO FLED THE SCENE BEFORE POLICE ARRIVED. CHARGED UNDER WRONG NAME...DWI, POSSESSION.... .. TEXAS DRIVERS LICENSE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR BOTH NAMES.. .... STILL IN CUSTODY UNDER WRONG NAME...NO ALIAS CHARGE.. POLICE ERROR... INDICTMENT USING WRONG PRIOR CRIMINAL RECORD...BIG MESS... AND ATTORNEY SUGGEST TAKE PLEA OF GUILTY AND 2 1/2 YEARS TIME. !!! THIS IS SUCH A MESS... ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIND CASE LAW FREE ON INTERNET TO HELP .....OR PLEASE GIVE CASE LAW IF YOU KNOW OF ANY LIKE THIS... WHERE DRIVER NOT OWNER OF VEHICLE IS CHARGED ,, POSSESSION OF DRUGS UNDER WRONG IDENTITY... INEXPENSIVE ATTORNEY , CAN HE FIRE HIM AND ASK FOR COURT APPOINTED? HAS NO MORE MONEY..
