What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KY
I live in a private community. We have a private club house on the property. All roads with in the community are part of the community property and are maintained by the residents. No public funds are used. A nieghbor was having a few beers at the club house last night and got a dui when he left the clubhouse. He never left the property. He is a share holder of the property. Can this happen? Can a police officer come on private property and enforce dui laws? To me this would be the same as a person getting a speeding ticket in there drive way.

In most states you cannot operate a motor vehicle impaired even on private property. Your attorney will know the answer to your question.
