Police line-up and home search

What is the name of your state? California

How long after a pursuit can the police still conduct a search of someones home they believe are hiding a suspect? If there is a pursuit and the police determine that the suspect has feld, but they decide to search a house because the occupants are know for having legal matters is that valid without a search warrant if the pursuit was over 30 minutes prior to the search? Also, what justifies the need for a line up? If they suspect someone of commiting a crime but the suspect is detained away from the crime and 30 minutes after the crime is commited, does that constitute the need for a line up to be conducted?

They can and will stay at an address if they believe a suspect is hold up in it until they know one way or another . It doesn't matter if the location is know prior by the police or not , but then again it may depending on what is involved .

30 minutes is not that long of a time . They wouldn't necessarily need to do a line up , they can take the suspect to the scene , or the victim to where the suspect is for visual ID .

You are throwing out generalized questions without giving the events of what transpired .
