Posting bail twice??I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but I'm going to ask it anyway and hopefully someone out there can help me. I was arrested on 12/31/2008 for embezzlement/grand larceny and my bail was posted this morning. Now, my first court date is next week, but my question is... will I have to post bail again or is the first time the only time? I have never been arrested before so have no priors, if that makes a difference. |

| The Prosecutor can add more charges and request higher bail, but that is pretty rare after you've bailed out. There won't be any other bail unless there are other, unrelated charges pending. In some states, when you bail out, you don't qualify for the Public Defender/panel attorney. Check with your local PD. |
