What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

I have a pretrial hearing in a disorderly conduct charge coming up. I know I am not allowed to tell my side of the story but is it wise to have my attorney enter a written statement to the court on my behalf or should I just enter the witness statements?

Why don't you let your attorney handle it? Generally a preliminary hearing just deals with probable cause and any ground work needed before the formal trial. You're not going to argue the case there unless there's some reason to totally impeach the basis of the complaint.
