Probable Cause to stop a vehicle

If the police receive 2 phone calls that someone is, at a minimum, bothering them by sitting on the side of the road pretending to be broken down, does that give the police probable cause to wait around 30 minutes after the fact and stop the vehicle?

Your question hadn't been posted yet. She saw the same thing that I did...nothing.

Maybe ... maybe not. It depends on what is told to the police.

I would say that it is certainly suspicious for a person to be sitting on the side of the road pretending to be broken down. That would likely warrant contact by itself.

So were you pretending to be broken down in front of your ex-girlfriend or ex-wife's home? Why pretend to be broken down?

So he couldn't be arrested for stalking (or so he thought).
