probation violation

I live in texas, does a california bench warrent show up when you are pulled over in texas for a traffic ticket or do you have to be arrested?
If I am arrested how long does california have to extradite me?
I was on supervised pobation here and succesfully passed a 3 year probation but california violated me and I could not make the trip due to no money to get there.

you can be picked up on a warrent if the officer decides to check further than your driving record. however. once arrested you have the right to an extradition hearing if you wish to fight extradition. at this point you really need to consult with an attourney because if you fail, the stae of cal. doesn't have to come to get you,.there are buses ging around the country picking up prisoners going from state to state, and county to county delivering their cargo. it can take a long time to reach your destination. best advice is get an attourney and get it worked out while you still have your freedom. the ride's a bitch
