Public Drunk

What is the name of your state? GA

I was arrested for Public Drunk and Disturbance of the peace. Both charges I assume are
misdemeanor charges. Should I get a lawyer for this or do you think I should jsut go to court to plea my case? This was the first time I have ever been in trouble. I do not want this on my record. THanks
