A cop pulled me over for a wide turn, he said I broke the lane. He smelled
beer, I told him what I had to drink and when. Didn't take a breath test or
blood. I had requested an independent test be done at a hospital. Didn't
get it and from what I have been told my blood would have been from .02 to
.03. As a side note the patrol man drove 80 to 85 mph in a 75 zone while
taking me to the big house. Anyway I now get a suspended imposition over
it.

I knew that night I had not made a wide turn. He pulled me over again for
a wide turn. I know for sure I did not make a wide turn. No alcohol in me, I
will not even drink a beer now at a friends if I plan to drive home. Which is
probably best anyway. Both pullovers were around 1 in the morning.

Talking to a friend of mine I told him about this highway patrol man
that keeps pulling me over for 'wide turns'. My friend knew the cop. He has
been pulled over 2 times for 'wide turns' and once for weaving in his own
lane. He does not drink and was visibly angered about being pulled over so
many times. Each time it was late at night and on a Friday or Saturday.
He said he know he had not broke any lines and confronted the officer with
it which apparently made the patrol man irritated. My friend expained the
cop then demanded him out of his vehicle and my friend being a bit ballsy
in my opinion said you have pulled me over for no legal reason. I'll show you
my licenseing to drive, but will not exit my vehicle. The officer offered
to forceably remove him, but somehow the situation unesculated when a
female cop showed up. They let him drive away.

So anyways, I see the pattern that this highway patrol man does not
care if he pulls a person over for no legal reason, and will lie about it. He
does have the gall to pull over for no reason, but he has yet to write any
thing more that a warning ticket in each case. He must have some
convictions about how far he can take his behaviour. Even the night he took
to me to the clink, he only gave me a warning for the 'wide turn'.

So is there anything that can be done about this? I am capable of
placing video cameras in vehicles and near corners with operators. I would
like to be pulled over and have evidence and witnesses that this cop is
taking his title, Mr. DUI, a little to far.

Thanks

I would personally like to see this stopped. I figure its great if someone
wants to be an enforcer of the law, but they should be bound by it to
perform rightly

Q: So is there anything that can be done about this.

A: Yes, keep all this in your original thread.

I appreciate your view on this seniorjudge, I did not know though that it
pertained enough to the last thread to place it there. Would you like me to move it to
the post in the thread that related to DUI instead of under this Procedure heading?
