Question about bailWhat is the name of your state? California I just had a question about someone getting out on bail. If someone gets arrested for violating their parole, and gets out on bail, can they get out on bail a second time after being arrested for something completely different (the court date for their first arrest still has not been set, so it's not as if they were cleared of the first charges)? Thank you for any help. |

| the real question is, is the parole officer going to keep him out on parole since he has gotten in trouble agian. the thing with parole is that if you get in trouble with the law you usually go straight back to jail. And right after having violated the parole. I doubt there's much hope he'll be out long even if he does post bail a second time. Which is possible for him to do. |

| Usually the Parole Officer places a Hold on a parolee that has been arrested and this will prevent them from bailing out. Why no hold was placed on the person, I cannot say. It could be that the parole officer is a dud, or that Parole was not even notified of the arrest until after he had been admitted to bail. Typically, you can expect a parolee on fresh charges to be held for at least 30 days unless the DA drops the charges before that time. - Carl
