What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
If a person were to have past shoplifting indiscretions at a big box chain that happened in May (4 months ago)
1. Not apprehended or stopped
2. Not followed
3. Not high priced (-$100)
4. Person took several items into fitting room where no one checked merchandise coming in or going out
5. Person returned to retailer many times after for standard shopping without incident
6. Not contacted by police or investigator.

In your professional opinion, how likely, that this person will be brought up on charges (understanding it CAN happen SOL) but have you seen this happened this much later?
Thank you

It is my opinion that the "person" should get a job. That way "person" wouldn't have to swipe from a "big box". (whatever that is!);)
