question about probable cause

What is the name of your state? Michigan

ok, say if your pulled over, and after you give the cops the info you need (license, plates, insurance e.t.c) then asks to search your car, if you say no to the search, would the cops have probable cause just because you refused a search?

oh and, can a cop arrest you or get a warrant to search your house if your just smoking a joint in your own house? (when the neighbors call the cops about the smell of weed from your house)

no. Did you get searched and what was the justification?

yes, the smell is enough to justify a search warrant. If they smell pot, that means there must be some in there somewhere.
