What is the name of your state? New Hampshire

Long story short - I ran from the police on my motorcycle (And was never cought) - My friend was detained and questioned.

He was told by the officer who chased me (and detained him) that he was going to be taken to the station for questioning.

When they got there they went to a conference room. He refused to give the officer my name and was told that he would be in trouble for failing to comply with a police officer if he didn't. He did give my name after he was told this.

That is not true, is it? I thought that he was only legally required to provide his name, place of residence, etc.

Thanks,
-Equin
