rental theft - how to get away?

What is the name of your state?
SC
I am conducting an investigation of the mother of my infant son. I am taking her to court for custody.
I discovered that before she moved from Cincy OH to SC she had rented a large screen TV and furniture. She left and RentAcenter listed it as a felony theft yet there is no warrant on her, and even if there was, i hear they would not extradite since its so costly. I find out she does this alot.
I think i can at least get copies of the contract and info from RentACenter to show what she did (for my family court action).

How can she get away with this?
