right to know your accuser?

the name of your state? California Has anyone ever heard that we all have the right to know our accuser? Does that apply when friends (or ex friends) are secretly working off charges by working for the police? I believe i got caught up in a whole ring off people who were doing this, because i seem to be the only one who has done any jail time and many others seemed to be talking about getting "busted again" or violatiing their probation in some way, and yet i dont believe any of them went to jail, or even got Prop 36. Since it says to be brief here i will end this for now but will post my case in another message. By the way, it was for possesion of controlled substance. thanks

The 6th amendment to the Constitution addresses the right to confront one's accuser in court.

Hope that helps. . .

Oh he'll get to confront his accuser alright. The indictment will be State of California v. Silverbracelet and the state of CA will appear as a witness against the defendant via the persona of the arresting police officer. Silverbracelet will have the opportunity to confront and cross-examine all the state's witnesses. Now don't count on the confidential informant (i.e. the fellow junkie who rolled over on you and probably two other people as well in order to reduce their time) appearing as a witness, although it does happen.

MY RESPONSE: Here's a Handi-Wipe and some Windex. Go nuts.

MY RESPONSE: How about "MissBCB"? At least, that will keep you as we know you, and identify your gender so we don't keep making complete fools of ourselves when addressing you.

Harvey is a rabbit. Greenjeans is a nerd. Bullwinkle is a moose. CanrnivalKlown, Godot, Natasha are unappealing as well. I tried several other names that I've used on other forums but they had been used here. I think I'll just stay with Boxcarbill. I have grown accustom to the name. I think I will delete this in a bit because it is highjacking Silverbacelets thread.
