Right to speedy trial? What is the name of your state? Texas My brother is in jail with several different charges forming around sexual assault of his 2 daughters and his 2 step daughters. He was jailed April 7th and arrained on April 22nd. He was wanting to know what is the definition of the time limit on his right to a speedy trial? |

| your brother (you must be so proud) most likely waived his right to a speedy trial at the arraignment. does he have an attorney? If yes, why isn't he asking the attorney? He isn't very smart, is he?
