What is the name of your state?north carolina
i need to know what legal rights a person has if he has been robbed/his house broken into and the police has already arrested the perpetrators but could not recover all the stolen goods. can one take them to court/file a law suite against them to try to retrieve the stolen property or does one just do nothing as the police says the case is closed because the robbers wouldn;t provide any moreinfo. thanks
