We will need to know details of the contact and the state where this occurred.
In general, the status of the driver's probation is not going to automatically and by itself subject the passengers to being searched. But, the police can ASK for consent to search passengers, and, of course if they have probable cause they can generally conduct a search. But, we'll need more details to render an informed opinion.
