My question is in regard to search and seizure?
If I am accussed of theft and the police come to my house to arrest me, and want to search my home without a search warrant, can my spouse give the police permission to enter and search and remove my personal possessions legally, without a warrant?

This is a no brainer. Yes, your spouse can give them permission to search the home the two of you share. Why would you think otherwise?

With her blessings to search, they did not need a warrant.

Now if she was coerced or gave permission under duress, possibly being threatened to be charged as an accomplice, this may be another matter.

But if she voluntarily agreed to their request to search, they are free to do so without a warrant.
