Search Warrant

I live in Ohio. My son was served with a search warrant. It states "You are hereby commanded to search within three days of this date the person/vehicle/premises named for the property specified, making the search in the NIGHT SEASON ... etc. It is dated for the 29 day of June, 2005. The search was made on the 5th of July. Should it have been done before or can they wait after the weekend? Or does three days mean three days?

My guess is that it has to do with court days ... in that case, July 5th would have been the third day. June 30th, July 1st, then the extended weekend which wouldn't count, then July 5th.
