search warrants and civil rightsarkansas--a friend of mine had a warrant issued to search her home for drugs, when the police arrived to do this she was in the bathtub taking a bath, she was made to stand in front of 15 male police officers with only a towel to hide her nude body until a female officer arrived--isn't this a violation of her civil or human rights? |

| NO! It sounds like the officers acted very reasonable. They let a possible suspect wrap up in a towel until a female officer could arrive, which only took 15 mins. What were they suppose to do let her roam around in the bedroom with the door closed until she could pick out an outfit...arm herself with the AK47...destroy evidence...commit suicide...jump out a window and run...ETC She should be thankful she wasn't cuffed naked until a female officer could arrive. Its not the officers problem she was in the tub, but thats the breaks when you live in a drug house or whatever the location was. |
