What is the name of your state?
Pennsylvania

My question is:
I make home made wine. I would like to ship a few bottles to my firends in different states. Is there any kind of law that would prevent me from doing so? I obviously am NOT charging anything for the wine, just a "Merry Christmas" gift. Is this permitted, or are 3 guys in dark suits and sunglasses going to show up at my door to take me away?

"It is not against any Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms regulations or federal laws to ship your entries via a privately owned shipping company such as UPS or FedEx Ground for analytical or test purposes. But it is illegal to ship alcoholic beverages via the U.S. Postal Service. Private shipping companies may refuse your shipment if they are informed your package contains alcoholic beverages. "

This link talks about state to state shipping for wholesalers. Apparently, it is illegal to ship from certain states to other certain states, but legal in some cases...
