What are you charged with?
What is the court date for?
Why don't you have a lawyer?

It is a magistrates order misdemeanor only for shoplifting under 100. Court date is in July and I can't afford a lawyer. Really can't I'm saving up for the fine and that's about all I can do

You've roughly got two options

1) Plead guilty and take your lumps

2) Plead Not guilty and be assigned a Public Defender

Maybe before the court date you can find the DA or Prosecutor
and see if there is any kind of a plea deal that can be made
