Angry

so they want me to work for them

CA

Moving into a new apartment.

Knock on the door, PD wants me to move vehicle they say is blocking wheelchair movement on street. Get the key from friend, go outside to move his car, tackled by officer, warrant to search the house. Cuffed, led inside, admit to amount of meth when found in room. No charges in exchange for information; what to do?

Do NOT!

I am telling you from personal experience (not my own) that you ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT cooperate!!!! It WILL backfire. You will end up with a lot more time in the long run. The police and county/district attorneys will try to threaten you, but don't believe it...

Get an attorney and ask for Prop. 36 deferral. With Prop. 36 you essentially get two free passes for possession or being under the influence.

You might as well use your first (if it IS your first) 'get out of jail free card'.
