son in trouble

What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

My 17 year old step son was caught stealing aprox $5,100.00 cash from his employeer. The money was taken several different times over the past month. He has been in trouble (1) other time, he stole a wallet and $20.00 at school. He already went to court for that, the fine was dropped and he was given community service. We would just like to know what kind of charges he will be facing, Do you think he will receive jail time?

Depends upon many factors, too numerous to list here.

What I can tell you is this, 1) He will be tried as an adult because he is 17. 2) $5,100 is enough to qualify it as a felony.
