statue of limitations on assault and battery

does n e one know the statue of limitations on assault and battery in California? it was a felony case, with no weapons involved.he never got arrested so i guess no warrant ever got issued

That depends ... which section are you talking about? There are felony sections, misdemeanor sections, weapons sections ... what are the details or what charges is he facing? And if there is already a warrant for his arrest, the SOL is irrelevant.
